Jessie Reads Everything

I really enjoyed this book overall. I fell in love with the characters. The heroine, Miranda, is an empath who doesn't know how to control her powers unless she is on stage performing. David is the computer geek she bumps into at the grocery store. But he's not just a computer geek; he is also the head vampire of the American Southwest. Not long after their first meeting Miranda is brutally assaulted in an alley and David finds her and takes her home and helps her heal. His kindness drops Miranda into the middle of a vampire war.It's an awesome story that sucked me in from the start. Though as a warning there is a couple of risque parts and a pretty graphic rape scene in the book.
