Jessie Reads Everything

When I picked this book up, I was wondering what the author was going to write about since the major story arc of the series had been resolved in the last book. I'm so glad that I decided to read it! This book was as good as the previous five! I really love this series but this book seemed to draw out a lot of emotion. Gin may be The Spider, Ashland's most deadliest assassin, but she has a lot of emotions to sort out. Unfortunately, the bastard detective from the first two books made a reappearance but by the end of the story it was understandable why the author brought him back. The detective was not the only character I was upset with. I just couldn't get over how Bria was treating Gin most of the book even though Gin has saved her life several times and was trying to help. The villain in this book gave me the creeps! He made Mab seem almost harmless. I highly recommend this series! The books just keep getting better! I can't wait for the next book in the series! August can't come fast enough!
